Woman shot in back; in stable condition

ZIZ Newsroom, Aug 4, 2010, Basseterre – A young woman is currently in the hospital in Nevis after being shot in the back.

According to police reports, at around 8 o’clock last night at Government Road, Tamaya Duporte was sitting outside when she was shot once in the back.

She was rushed to Alexandra Hospital and is currently in stable condition.

No-one is in custody but investigations ongoing.
