Vehicle goes off cliff

(ZIZ News) — The police are investigating the circumstances which led to a jeep going off the road and into the ocean at Old Road Bay.

According to the head of the Traffic Department Inspector Phillip Eddy at about 12:30 pm on Saturday Austin Buchanan was travelling east to Basseterre in P-9099.

Buchanan said he felt dizzy and lost control of the vehicle and went into the ocean.

He suffered no injuries and passers-by helped him and took him to the JNF General Hospital for examination.

Investigations are underway.
