USVI department of health confirms first zika case on St Thomas

The US Virgin Islands Department of Health received confirmation over the weekend of a case positive for zika virus in a 39-year-old male on St Thomas.

“The department anticipates additional cases will be confirmed as new lab results come back from the CDC,” stated Commissioner Nominee Dr Michelle Davis.
