Two ship days brought over 7,000 cruise passengers to St. Kitts

Basseterre, St. Kitts (CUOPM) — Over 7,000 cruise ship passengers visited St. Kitts during the last two ship days.

Information from the Marine Division of the St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) said 5,410 passengers were onboard the two ships that berth at Port Zante on Friday.

The Carnival Valor had 3,278 passengers onboard and the Disney Magic 2,132 passengers.

On Monday, the Jewel of the Seas visited with for a total of 7,670 passengers in the last two ship days.

Most of the passengers from the three ships came ashore and went on sight-seeing tours in Basseterre and island wide via the St. Kitts Scenic Railway, buses or taxis. Scores also headed for the sea and sun bathing on the beaches, snorkeling, sailing, and horseback riding and shopping.
