Technical Officials Gala & Awards

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 28, 2019 (ZIZ News): Technical officials in various sporting fields were recognized for their hard work over the years at an awards ceremony and gala at Ocean Terrace Inn on Saturday evening.

The Second Annual Technical Officials Gala and Awards Ceremony was organized by the St. Kitts and Nevis Technical Officials Association and according to the organizers the goal was to show appreciation to persons who have been contributing to sport development in the Federation for several years.

Director of Sport Anthony Wiltshire praised the efforts to recognize the technical officials noting that their hard work over the years has pushed the development of local sport to where it is now.

Award recipients were recognized in two categories, Long Service Awards and Hard-Working Awards.

The feature address of the evening was delivered by guest speaker, former Vice President of SKN Athletics, Evris Huggins.
