Superstars fundraiser

(ZIZ News) — League champions The Village Superstars are making plans to participate in the CONCACAF Caribbean Club Shield Tournament in April and have begun a series of fundraising events.

The club’s Public Relations Officer, Iroy Clarke is encouraging the public to lend a helping hand through a Gofundme page they’ve established.

He said he’s confident the team can go all the way.

According to the Gofundme page the team is hoping to raise fifty thousand dollars to cover the costs of travel expenses, expert help, medical assistance, food and equipment.

The page will be active until the end of March.
