St. Kitts and Nevis meet OECD standards

ZIZ News…March 25, 2010 – The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) says three Caribbean jurisdictions now meet internationally agreed standards on exchange of tax information.

The OECD has identified the three as St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla.

The organisation said the three had each signed a total of 14 tax information exchange agreements with other countries.

They are now considered to have substantially implemented an international reporting standard designed by the OECD to combat harmful tax practices, mainly through the sharing of tax data among nations.
