Shooting victim succumbs to injuries

(ZIZ)A 24 year old young man of New Road died at the General Hospital two weeks after he was shot.

Royden Peets Jr. was attacked by an armed masked assailant on Friday October 19 at about 7:35 am at New Road Housing Project.

Peets was being treated at the General Hospital since the attack before he died.

Public Relations Officer for the Police Force, Lyndon David says they can conclude that Peets’ death was due to the injuries he suffered during the attack, then this would be ruled as a Homicide.

The Police are asking anyone with any information pertaining to this incident to call the nearest Police Station, or, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-tips.
