Second man charged in supermarket robbery case

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 20, 2019 (ZIZ News): On December 19, 2019, the police charged 27-year-old Laureston Ryan of Sandy Point for the Offence of Robbery which took place at a supermarket in the camps area.

 

According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday December 6, 2019 at about 4:50 p.m. when police say two masked men entered Island Food Supermarket near the island main road and demanded money from one of the cashiers.

On December 17, 20-YEAR-OLD St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force Private Michael Saunders of Conaree Village was also charged for the Offence of Robbery in the same incident.
