Retired Police Officers Press Conference
Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 25, 2019 (ZIZ News):— The Police and Fire Retired Association of St. Kitts and Nevis was officially launched at a press conference held at the Red Cross on Tuesday.
The association was officially established last year when its constitution was ratified on November 15th 2018.
Addressing those present, Chaplain of the association Leroy Benjamin said the press conference was held so that prospective members can be aware of the existence of the association.
Association President, Retired Commissioner Austin Williams outlined the objects of the association as stated in the constitution.
Objectives also included collaboration with the federation’s security forces.
Secretary Natalie Fough said the association was officially started approximately 5 years ago.
The executive of the Police and Fire Retired Association of St. Kitts and Nevis is made up of, the President Retired Commissioner Austin Williams, Vice President Sgt. Mcclean Hobson, Secretary Former Station Officer Natalie Fough, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer Former Assistant Commissioner Joseph Richardson, Public Relations Officer Former Assistant Commissioner Vaughan Henderson, Past President Former Supt. Ivor Blake, And Chaplain Leroy Benjamin.
Membership is open to persons who served as members of the St. Kitts and Nevis Polce= force and the fire and rescue services, as well as persons who share common interest in specific ongoing endeavours of the association.
