Potter’s Touch Preschool visits SKNDF

(ZIZ News) — Learning to spell the word restricted and singing nursery rhymes were among the many lessons introduced to the Potter’s Touch pre-schoolers who paid a visit to the St. Kitts Nevis Defense force on Monday.

Ensign Zenra Ferdinand of The St. Kitts Nevis Defense force was the official tour guide. She said the littler learners enjoyed the tour of the base.

She said the students showed admiration and appreciation for the soldiers on compound.

During the tour, the pre-schoolers were given the opportunity to visit the guard room, the motor pool, force headquarters, the lookout tower and the mess hall.

They even got a chance to show off their marching skills and were taught how to properly shake hands with a lesson from force Captain Kayode Sutton.

The children learning to do push-ups as a form of physical training was the highlight of the tour.

The visit to the St. Kitts Nevis Defense force formed part of the school’s week of activities, which is scheduled to wrap up on Friday.
