Policing With You – Restaurant Restrictions Explained
Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 18th, 2020 (ZIZ News): As part of the gradual reopening of the economy, the most recent state of emergency regulations have allowed for the reopening of restaurants under the COVID-19 regulations.
On the most recent edition of “Policing With You” on Thursday, Divisional Commander for District “A” Superintendent Cromwell Henry outlined the restrictions associated with the new regulations.
“You must observe the social distancing protocol and the and the hand hygiene protocols so that the tables must be spaced 6 feet apart and no more than 4 persons from the same household are permitted at one table and no more than two persons at one table. So if you have agroup of you who are not from the same household, more than two of you cannot sit at the same table.”
The superintendent explained that four persons from the same household are allowed whether or not they are family, because they live together and share the same risk as opposed to persons who may be family but live apart.
