Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Sports Bar on Bay Road

Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred at a sports bar on the Irishtown Bay Road on Friday night.

According to reports, the police received the report of the robbery just after 11pm on Friday and responded.

Investigations so far have revealed that several persons were inside the bar when five (5) armed masked men entered and ordered everyone on the floor.

The assailants then robbed them of personal belongings. They also took a large sum of money from the cash register before fleeing the scene.

It was also reported that one of the assailants hit the bartender across her head.
