Police Investigate Shooting in Newtown

ZIZ News…May 25, 2010 – A young man from Newtown is recovering from several gun shot injuries to his body.

According to a police report, on Tuesday 25th May 2010, Police responded to a report of shooting which occurred at approximately 4:00AM in Newtown.

Investigations revealed that Shamon Herbert (23) of Mad House Alley was shot multiple times. He is presently under going emergency treatment at JNF Hospital.

There are no suspects in custody at this time, however, investigations are ongoing.
