PM Douglas leads delegation to meetings of Commonwealth and IMF/World Bank

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 8TH 2012 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas is in Tokyo, Japan, to attend Meetings of Commonwealth Ministers of Finance and the International Monetary Fund (IMF)/World Bank.

Commonwealth Ministers of Finance meet Wednesday 10th October and the IMF/World Bank Meetings will run from October 12th to 14th.

Prime Minister Douglas is accompanied by Deputy Financial Secretary, Ms. Sylvia Manning; Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Mrs. Hillary Hazel and Senior Assistant Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Ms. Beverly Knight.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance in the Nevis Island Administration, Mr. Laurie Lawrence will join the delegation for the World Bank/IMF meeting.
