Newtown Wins Women’s Carnival Cup

(ZIZ News) – Winners Circle Newtown United is the 2015 St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) Women’s Carnival Cup champion.

Newtown United defeated the ladies of Sol Island Auto Conaree FC 3-NIL In the finals on Sunday, thanks largely to Tracy Willock’s two second-half goals.

Willock’s goals came in the 70th and 75th minutes, while Tyra Wilkinson added hers earlier in the 10th minute.

The team’s victory on Sunday followed its dominating performance in the semi-finals on Saturday, when the players defeated the National Under-20 team, 8-nil.
