Tabernacle Health Centre Commissioning

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 25th, 2020 (ZIZ): Health and other government officials will be among those in attendance on Thursday afternoon for the commissioning of a new health institution in Tabernacle.

A Commissioning and Renaming ceremony for the New Tabernacle Health Centre will be held on Thursday at 4:30 pm at Station Street.

In an earlier media report Prime Minister Dr. The Hon. Timothy Harris was quoted as saying the new facility will “provide a wide range of services related to non-communicable diseases, cancers, heart-related diseases, antenatal and postnatal care, and a full range of support services including support for persons suffering from HIV/AIDS

Construction for the new health centre began in November 2017 at a cost of 2.4 million funded by the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

The Commissioning and Renaming ceremony will be held under Covid-19 guidelines and invited guests are urged to wear a mask.
