National Bank Supports Green Valley
ZIZ NEWSROOM, Basseterre, St.Kitts, June 8 2011 – National Bank has shown its support of the Green Valley Queen Pageant by coming on board as a sponsor.
Marketing manager Patricia Wilkinson stated that, “National will continue to demonstrate its commitment to programmes that contribute to the development of our people and the wellness of our communities.”
Meanwhile, the contestants, Latoya Caesar, Micayan Dore, Lynnika Small, Cherane Fyfield, and Shadia Dore, have been honing their elocution skills, polishing talents and perfecting poise as they prepare to compete on June 10.
Chairman for the promotions sub-committee Clifford Griffin said that, “preparation for the show is a serious exercise in discipline which will definitely boost the self esteem of the participants and we expect a really high standard of competition.”
According to organizers the festival, which runs until June 13, brings residents of the neighboring villages of Canada, Keys, Cayon, Ottleys and Lodge together in an explosion of cultural celebration and economic activity.
