National Bank, LIME set AGM dates

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 31ST 2011 (CUOPM) – Two local companies have scheduled their annual general meetings for mid-September.

Board Secretary of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank, Mrs. Yvonne Merchant-Charles said the financial institution will hold its 40th Annual General Meeting at the Grand Ball Room of the St. Kitts Marriott Beach Resort, Frigate Bay on Tuesday 13th September.

Company Secretary of LIME – Cable & Wireless (St. Kitts & Nevis) Limited, Mr. Jonathan Bass said the communication’s company will hold its 26th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Wednesday 14th September also at the St. Kitts Marriott Beach Resort, while its shareholders in Nevis will meet at its Teleconferencing facility at Ramsbury.

Both shareholders’ meeting begins at 5 p.m.

Mrs. Merchant-Charles said the bank’s shareholders are expected to confirm the Minutes for the AGM last November 30th, receive the reports of the Directors and Auditors, receive and consider the Accounts for the year ended June 30th 2010, declare a dividend and elect Directors.

She said shareholders will also reconfirm the appointment of Auditors and discuss any other business for which notice in writing is to be delivered to the Company’s Secretary three clear banking days prior writing.
