Montego Bay woman abducted, shot dead

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The body of a middle-aged practical nurse was found on a secluded road behind the Riu Hotel in Ironshore, Montego Bay Wednesday night.

Preliminary reports are that the woman and a child were abducted by men travelling in a motor car and taken to the spot about 10:20 pm where she was fatally shot.

The child was later released unhurt at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
