Ministry of Tourism Hosts Plastic Free Exhibition and Video Screening

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 27, 2019 (ZIZ News): The Ministry of Tourism held an exhibition and video screening on Bank Street in downtown Basseterre, St. Kitts on Friday as part of its Plastic Free July initiative.

During the exhibition, persons were given the opportunity to view items on display that were created from re-purpose/recycled plastic.

The Department of Environment made presentations on environmental issues such as waste disposal, climate change and water pollution.

The exhibition began at 11 a.m. and wrapped up at 6 p.m.
