Minister Richards Says More Steps Will Be Taken to Support Universal Early Childhood Development

With aims to improve children’s access to and participation in education from early childhood to the end of the secondary level, the Ministry of Education will be taking further steps to help with the achievement of universal early childhood development.

That is according to Minister of Education, the Hon. Shawn Richards who was at the time delivering his back to school address to the nation on Friday.

The Education Minister said as part of this mandate, educators have also received first aid training.

He also added that the Ministry of Education will continue to work to improve the quality of the service that is delivered in the early childhood sector.
