Longer opening hours at Fort Clarence beach

St Catherine, Jamaica — The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) today announced that the Fort Clarence Beach in St Catherine will be opened to the public for longer hours during the summer.

The corporation said that the beach will be opened between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm from Monday to Sunday. The new time will come into effect on Monday, July 7 and end Sunday, August 31.

On September 3, the beach will return to its regular operating hours of 10:00 am to 6:00pm Wednesday to Friday and 9:00 am to 6:00pm on weekends and public holidays, the UDC said.
