LIAT Launching New Caribbean Flights

(Carib Journal) LIAT has announced it will launch a new, nonstop service from Barbados to Trinidad early next year.

Beginning Jan. 18, LIAT will offer daily flights from the Grantley Adams Airport to Piarco International Airport.

The one-hour flight will depart Barbados at 1:00 P.M. and leave Trinidad at 2:30 P.M.

Tickets for the new service are now on sale starting $196 return from Barbados and $183 return from Trinidad, the company said.

LIAT said it advises customers planning travel in February to book early, due to anticipated high demand for seats to and from Trinidad for Carnival.
