Integrity in Public Life Bill

ZIZ News—10th September 2013–Government has passed a law that would set out guidelines for the behaviour of public officials.

During house of assembly on Monday Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs the Hon Patrice Nisbett noted that the bill establishes a code of conduct for public officials.

Nisbett says the bill also provides for the establishment of an integrity commission to enforce the code of conduct and prevent abuse of office, misconduct, neglect of duties and conflicts of interest.
