Hit and Run Traffic Accident

ZIZ News—9th September, 2013–Officers of the Sandy Point Police Station are investigating a traffic accident which occurred at Half Way Tree about 2:05 am on Sunday 8th September 2013, which left one person hospitalised.

Initial investigation revealed that Jeanel Riley of the Ally Sandy Point was travelling in his motor car from Sandy Point to Basseterre, he stopped in Half Way Tree in the vicinity of the Water Damp and he got out the vehicle and was stuck by a vehicle travelling towards Sandy Point which continued on its journey. One person is police custody assisting with the investigation.
