Governor-General and Prime Minister lead nation in signing Book of Condolence for the late Sir Edmund Lawrence

 St. Kitts and Nevis’ Governor-General Dame Marcella Liburd and Prime Minister the Hon. Dr. Terrance M. Drew joined members of the Cabinet and scores of persons signing the Book of Condolence as the Nation awaits the official date of the State Funeral for the late Sir Edmund Lawrence.

Sir Edmund, who served as Governor-General of St. Kitts and Nevis from 2013 to 2015 passed away at his home on September 7, 2025.

Dame Marcella and Prime Minister signed the Book of Condolences mounted at the ground floor entrance of Government Headquarters on Church Street.

What is know is that the State Funeral Service will take place at the Wesley Methodist Church.
