Financial Information Month Launched

(ZIZ) Self-sufficiency is at the heart of activities to mark Financial Information Month in October.

In officially launching the month, Prime Minister The Right Hon Dr Denzil Douglas said slavery and colonialism were engineered to prevent persons of African descent from becoming self sufficient and he encouraged everyone to adopt a mindset of entrepreneurship.

He said the activities are relevant to every sector of society, including students.

Financial information month is being held under the theme “Reshaping our future, Starting now”
