Director of the Forensic Unit, Latoya Lake-Marshall

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 25, 2019 (ZIZ News): Director of Forensics Latoya Lake-Marshall is calling on the public to help preserve crime scenes until the police arrive.

She made the call during Thursday’s edition of “Policing with You” on ZIZ radio.

Mrs. Lake- Marshall said that once there is a crime scene in your home or place of business and an official report is made to the police, your duty is to secure the area where the incident occurred until it is properly processed.

She also mentioned that if the crime scene is disrupted that could lead to the destruction of evidence that could stop a repeat offender.

Policing with you airs on ZIZ radio every Thursday morning from

9:15 to 9:45.
