Diabetes Symposium Rescheduled, Planned for September 6th

(ZIZ News) — A new date has been set for the Diabetes Symposium which is being organised by the St. Kitts Diabetes Association.

The symposium was originally scheduled for August 23rd but had to be postponed due to inclement weather conditions.

The association’s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Reginald O’loughlin has since revealed that September 6th is the new date.

The event will be held at the Old Girls’ School on Victoria Road from 3pm and feature a presentation by Dr. Terrance Drew and a brief demonstration on exercises for relatively immobile persons by Earle Clarke.

Transportation is expected to be made available from 2pm.

Route one will offer transportation from St. Paul’s at Miss Carty’s Shop, via Sandy Point, with pickups at all health centres along the route.

Route two provides transportation from Dieppe Bay, via Cayon, at the health centres in each village.
