Dead man at Frigate Bay

(ZIZ) Police are trying to find out what led up to a man being found dead at Frigate Bay.

Dead is Brian Liddie of Haynes Smith Village, said to be in his fifties.

According to a police statement at about 6:20 AM a construction worker found him naked in a body of water at a construction site on the golf course near the St. Kitts Marriott Sewage Plant.

A senior police official told ZIZ that relatives says he would normally dive into the water to retrieve and clean golf balls to sell to tourists.

The police say there were no signs of foul play and they will perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
