Consumer Week Begins

ZIZ News — The Ministry Of Consumer Affairs has officially launched a week of activities centred on the observance of World Consumer Rights Day.

The activities began with a church service on Sunday morning at the St.Peters Anglican Church where minister of consumer affairs, The Hon Richard Skerritt and ministry staff worshipped with members of the community.

The church service kicks off several activities throughout the week focusing on consumer information… including an address by Minister Skerritt to be aired on ZIZ Radio and TV on Monday, a Consumer Information Programme and Give Away on ZIZ Radio, the first ever Corporate Citizenship Award, and a Consumer March with primary and high schools on Friday.

World Consumer Rights Day is Saturday 15th March.
