Conaree neighborhood group on watch

ZIZ News — A group of Conaree Residents are taking matters into their own hands and erecting street signs as a way to improve safety and security in the area.

Rosie Phipps of the Conaree terrace neighborhood watch group says safety became a concern for the group about three years ago when crime escalated in the area.

Phipps says it was a challenge to get the project started but they persevered.

Both Ross University and BEC Auto Parts, sponsors of the project; gave it their endorsement.

The cable is also one of the sponsors of the Conaree terrace neighborhood watch street sign project.
