Caribbean GQ Crowned
Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 4, 2019 (ZIZ News): Mr St. Maarten, Learie Hall has been named the first ever Mr Caribbean GQ after a close competition on Saturday night at Lime Beach Bar.
At the end of the night Mr Hall scored 631 points to snatch the title, winning Best GQ Beachwear, and Best GQ Wear along the way.
There was a tie for first runner up between Mr Barbados Karlos Yearwood and Mr St. Kitts Nevis Jonah Valerie with 623 points. Mr Valerie also won Best GQ Carnival Costume while Mr Yearwood won Best Interview.
Second runner up went to Mr Dominica Jornan JnoBaptiste.
The Caribbean GQ Competition was held alongside the swimsuit segment of the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant.
No positions for that segment were announced as the points will carry over to the remainder of the competition on Monday night at the Nevis Cultural Complex.
