Cabinet Meets, Approves More Concessions

(ZIZ News) – The St. Kitts and Nevis government gave its approval for a number of initiatives when the Federal Cabinet met on Monday.

During the meeting, chaired by Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, Cabinet approved concessions for four businesses in St. Kitts and Nevis.

A press release issued from the St. Kitts and Nevis Information Service states that Cabinet also gave its approval for the restructuring and re-commissioning of the Department of People Empowerment.

As a result, that department now has the additional responsibility of resettling persons from the Diaspora in their homeland.

The release added that the Federal Cabinet discussed ongoing reforms in re-calibrating the Citizenship-By-Investment Programme to maintain the highest standard of integrity.
