Bath One And Segment Boys Win Big In Double Header

Sports Page – Tuesday 18th June 2013–The Basil Challenger league hosted by the CCC Bath United Football club and sponsored in the main by Caribbean Cable Communications, continued on Sunday 16th June with a double header at the Bath village Playing field.

There was a sizeable and appreciative crowd in attendance and they were able to witness two competitive matches, even though the eventual score line does not support the fact.

In game one, Bath United one won over Beyond Homes All stars, 5 goals to nil.

Oneil DADDY SHAKES was the hapless goal keeper for the ALL Stars team.

Scorers for the Bath team were: Shaheed Tyson 2; Shakir Claxton 1; Dale Farrell 1 and Junior Taylor 1

In game two, Segment Boys took care of Bath United two with a score line of 8 goals to 1. The goal awarded to the Bath team was an own goal scored by the Segment Boys.

Akeem Taylor was the ultimate star, hitting the back of the net no fewer than five times; Mashimba Browne; Jamie Parry and Andre Browne also scored one goal each.
