Anglican Synod Commences

(ZIZ News) — The Anglican Church in St. Kitts is the host of the highest decision-making body of the denomination’s Diocesan Synod.

The 49th Session of the Synod of the Anglican Diocese of the North Eastern Caribbean and Aruba commenced on Sunday at the St. George’s Anglican Church.

It began with a march through the streets of Basseterre and was followed by a church service where Bishop Errol Brookes declared the session open.

The synod runs until October 1st, 2015.
