Amnesty for Undocumented Caricom Nationals

(ZIZ News) — The Ministry of National Security is reminding undocumented CARICOM nationals residing in St. Kitts and Nevis of the government’s announcement in July 2015 that offers an amnesty to undocumented CARICOM nationals.

The amnesty enables CARICOM nationals to regularise their status regarding outstanding payments for work permits and residency.

According to a release from the Ministry of National Security, all applicants should have no criminal record.

Under the amnesty, outstanding payments for years prior to 2015 will be waived.

The ministry has asked those affected to visit its office at Port Zante prior to the deadline of 16 October 2015.
