Accident Involving Ambulance

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 5, 2021 (ZIZ) — The police are investigating an accident on Wednesday morning involving an ambulance and another vehicle.

Investigations are still underway but ZIZ understands that the collision took place between an ambulance and a vehicle owned by the court.

The incident occurred on the Frigate Bay Road near the Fire Station.

The front of the ambulance was severely damaged and two occupants were taken to the hospital by another ambulance.

The circumstances of the accident are unclear and we’ll have more details as they become available.
