“Students who are in need of of a hot lunch will be provided with a lunch as of Tuesday of next Week,” he said. “The Ministry of Education has already put out a PSA asking parents to get in touch with either the teacher or principal of the school that the child attends or to visit the schools on Thursday of this week, as we have asked the secretaries to be at each of the primary schools to take the information so that we have an idea as to which students are in need of lunch.”

The lunches will be packaged take-away meals and according to a statement from the Ministry of Education Lunch distribution will begin on Tuesday May 5th from 11:45am to 1:00pm daily.

All persons collecting meals must wear a mask and follow other health protocols. Lunches will not be available on any announced total lock down days.
