Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 7, 2020 (ZIZ News): On Monday the Ministry of Health on St. Kitts received a one-thousand-dollar donation to strengthen efforts in the fight against the Novel Coronavirus, courtesy of Retired Assistant Comptroller of Customs, Theodore Brown.

Mr. Browne made the presentation to Chair of the National COVID-19 Task Force, Abdias Samuel during the National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) briefing at NEMA.

“I would like to give this cheque to Mr. Samuel. It goes to the Ministry of Health in whatever way they can use this to assist our brothers and sister in St. Kitts and Nevis. I present Mr. Samuel a cheque in the amount of one thousand dollars”, he said.

The former Assistant Comptroller of Customs said he felt compelled to give back during this challenging time and encouraged others to give what they can to help each other.

At the end of the handing over, Brown reminded all that during this pandemic, “our country needs us now more than ever”.
