Carnival in Review

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 2, 2019 (ZIZ News): As the Sugar Mas 48 activities draw to a close, the St. Kitts and Nevis Carnival Committee Chairman, Noah Mills shared his thoughts on the street parades which wrapped up on Thursday.

He said that persons have hailed them as the biggest and best managed in a long time.

Before the start of the carnival season it was announced that the Grand Parade would have a new starting point, the Chairman said that this decision was correct.

He also spoke about the security at the street parades and commended the Marshalls for assisting with protecting participants.

Carnival activities continue on Saturday where persons can join the 2019-2020 road March winners Grand Masters Band in their victory jam.
