Basseterre, St. Kitts (CUOPM) – An ‘Afternoon Tea’ with the Media at the Lanesborough Hotel, London, was one of the activities by the St. Kitts and Nevis tourism delegation now in the United Kingdom.

The stakeholders from the tourism industry of engaged travel writers, tour operators and travel agents gave the partners from both islands an opportunity to network with a range of UK media representing the consumer and trade sectors, online travel sites, travel blogs and key freelance journalists.

The event was part of a marketing initiative being undertaken in partnership with British Airways and destination product representatives from both St. Kitts and Nevis, themed ‘Know The UK, Grow The UK’

The theme for Wednesday’s event for ‘Know The UK, Grow the UK’ as illustrated, included five selection of teas including Lemongrass and Ginger, Apple and Mango, Gunpowder, Energize and Cinnamon Rose, alongside an afternoon tea menu with Caribbean inspired dishes alongside traditional English items.
