Boundaries Injunction Update

ZIZ News—11th September, 2013–As the case against the proposed boundaries changes continues the claimants today filed an application to review the procedure the boundaries commission used to determine the changes.

Lead counsel for the claimants, Constance Mitcham told ZIZ that since the court granted the injunction they are optimistic the court will allow them to review the commission’s procedure.

On Monday the court granted an injunction , which prevented the governor general from finalizing the draft of the changes and making them permanent.
