Man Found Guilty of Murder

Kevon Hamilton, originally from St. Pauls but living in West Farm has been found guilty of murder by a verdict of 10-2 for the murder of Ernest Hendricks.

The incident occurred on June 24 2015. According to reports, Hendricks, who runs a small bakery in Palmetto Point was robbed by a masked gunman around 6am.

The gunman demanded money, Hendricks resisted, and the gunman shot him. Hendricks was rushed to the hospital but died two weeks later. Kevon Hamilton’s guilty verdict was handed down earlier this week. He will be sentenced at a later date.
