Taxi operator training workshops to begin on Wednesday

Minister of Tourism, Hon. Lindsey Grant says training is essential for the development of the tourism sector.

He made the statement during a brief interview with ZIZ on Monday shortly after announcing that a taxi operator training workshop is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

He said the ongoing training in the Ministry of Tourism is essential as preparations for the 2nd cruise pier in Basseterre are currently underway.

Minister Grant said the training forms part of the ministry’s mandate to ensure that visitors always experience first class service always.
