PM: Gilbert Not Paid Off

ZIZ News [July 23, 2013] — Prime Minister The Right Hon Dr Denzil Douglas has denied claims by The Peoples Action Movement that Dr Vance Gilbert was paid off to be a candidate.

In this week’s edition of “Ask The PM” Dr Douglas said there is no truth to statements made by PAM officials that the government paid Dr Gilbert 2 million dollars to be their representative.

Prime Minister Douglas condemned the PAM leader for reportedly saying that the government paid off Dr Gilbert to run as a candidate for constituency #7.
