Health Ministry Says ‘Get Tested’

ZIZ News…June 19 2013 — The Ministry Of Health will be using the excitement of The Music Festival weekend to promote HIV/Aids awareness and give everyone a chance to get tested.

Regional Testing Day falls on Thursday June 27 but the Health Promotion Unit will be setting up a free testing clinic at the circus the next day.

National Aids Programme coordinator, Gardenia Destang Richardson says they want to take advantage of the Friday crowd.

The Ministry Of Health is teaming up with ScotiaBank and the Caribbean media broadcasting partnership against HIV-Aids to host regional testing day.
