Development Team beats Grass Roots

Sports Page — A very interesting match was played at the ET Willet Park on Saturday 14th February. That is when the local coaches organized a match between the development team and the Grass roots team.

In the 30 overs contest, the Grass roots team won the toss and batted first and scored 184 for 2 from their 30 overs.

Ross Powell top scored with 70 not out; Shevon Jeffers got 38 and Philo Wallace 40 not out

Tiwan Prentice got 1 wicket for 28 runs

The Development team got to 186 for 6 in 29.5 overs: Alex Williams 42; Saeed Williams 40; Shelton Forbes 45 and Theron Bussue 25, the main scorers.

Philo Wallace bagged 4 for 26.
