Man charged again for Nevis murder

ZIZ News — The police have re-arrested Craig Halliday of Sprott Street for the murder of Leon Westerman of low street, Nevis.

According to reports Halliday and Asim Parris were originally charged for the murder but the case was withdrawn.

Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Says Halliday has now been arrested and charged again for the same offence.

He was unable to say if Parris would also be charged again.

According to reports, Leon Westerman was gunned down by two masked men on January 28, 2008 inside a Spanish Bar on the Island Main Road.

He was rushed to the Alexandra Hospital where he later died.
